Now He Sings, Now He Sobs

Buckler Warble  Welcome to the live update showcasing the boy Buckler laying down some lead vocals in the studio. As you can see, he’s on fine form, belting out the future classics that the new songs are bound to become. In time honoured fashion, the actual tracking has gone fairly well, but the replays and listening back in isolation have resulted in a frenzied ’surely I don’t sound like that!’ moment or two. The grim reality of our respective inadequacies comes to haunt us all. Expect a song or two to emerge chronicling the horrors of self awareness in the near future.

Given that London Transport conspired to delay our start by putting on trains with no drivers, all things told we’ve done fairly well today. Five songs have lead vocals on, so we’re happy with the progress. Just a spot of extra backing and we’re looking good for more lead tracking tomorrow. I shall be steaming up the M40 from Surrey to Wolverhampton with the newly recorded files for a date with some high kicking backing singers to do additional vocals this evening at the Treehouse Studio, then charging back down in the opposite direction at the crack of dawn to return to Surrey. All action, we are you know.
