dan-karl-and-neil The main point of the musing being, of course, whether or not to cut out all of the rubbish elements of the TDT sound from the next album, or leave them in. But as we suspect not many will want to listen to an album containing only drums and guitar, the decision was made to leave all the other rubbish in as well… Gaze, if you will, upon the sight of three individuals hard at work on the mix of The Dreaming Tree’s latest opus, and marvel at the lack of Muppetry on display for what is quite clearly a posed photograph. Or not, as the case may be. So far, all the ballpark EQ’s and effects have been dialled in, and we’re now off into the realm of tailoring those sounds for each individual track’s requirement. And drinking coffee. So it’s all bumbling along rather nicely, really. Who knows, we may even be home for Christmas…
